A FINISHED EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT CV, IN FULL
The CV below is a complete example, written through the same interview you would sit. The candidate is fictional so nobody's confidentiality is touched, but every line follows the rules a real one does: evidence over adjectives, a metric in every achievement, the profile written in the first person, the most recent role given the most space.
It comes in four typeset templates. This one is The Signature. The Standard is pure black and white for the most conservative environments, The Brief is the modern minimal version, and The Studio carries a single accent colour for creative and technology businesses. You download all four, in Word and PDF.

I am executive assistant to the CEO of a 400-person asset management firm, holding the diary, inbox and board cycle across UK and US offices. I am trusted to decline meetings, approve spend to £5,000 and handle the confidential matters that reach the CEO's desk before anyone else sees them. The thread through my career is rebuilding: every role I have held ran better when I left it than when I arrived.
Rebuilt the board pack process after two late distributions, cutting preparation from nine days to four across 11 meetings a year and eight directors.
Renegotiated the firm's travel management contract, saving £38,000 a year on roughly 200 trips while improving out-of-hours support.
Ran the firm's 300-guest annual investor dinner for three consecutive years on a £90,000 budget, delivered under budget each year.
Held the CEO's office through a leadership transition, keeping the board cycle, investor communications and 40 direct stakeholder relationships uninterrupted for five months without a sitting CEO.
Alderton Capital is a Manchester-based asset management firm with £2.4 billion under management and offices in London and New York.
Sole support to the CEO of a 400-person firm, running the CEO's office across UK and US time zones and acting as the first point of contact for the firm's 12 largest investors.
–Manage a diary of 30 to 40 meetings a week across three time zones, holding authority to decline and reprioritise without sign-off.
–Run an inbox of roughly 300 messages a day to a same-day standard, resolving the majority without escalation.
–Own the full board cycle for 11 meetings a year: agendas, packs for eight directors, minutes and follow-up actions tracked to completion.
–Hold the £140,000 events budget and approve routine spend to £5,000 on my own authority.
–Coordinate roughly 200 trips a year across the executive team, including multi-leg US investor roadshows rebuilt at short notice.
–Line-manage the office coordinator and train each new assistant joining the wider support team of five.
Supported the managing partner of a 60-partner law firm. Moved to Alderton for the step up to sole CEO support in a larger business.
–Ran due diligence logistics through an 18-month merger, coordinating data rooms and meeting schedules across both firms.
–Managed the partnership's quarterly meeting cycle for 60 partners across three offices, including papers and voting logistics.
–Handled privileged and confidential client matters daily, trusted with material no one else in the support team saw.
Joined as team assistant to a property developer and was promoted to PA within 18 months.
–Supported two directors and coordinated travel for a team of 25 across a dozen live development sites.
–Built the team's first shared travel and expenses process, adopted across the company's 80 staff.
–2023, UK Executive Support Awards, EA of the Year, shortlisted finalist
–2019, Whitmore & Crane Outstanding Contribution Award, voted by the partnership
–Founding member of the firm's assistant community, running quarterly training sessions for a support team of five
–Corporate governance for board support, short course, 2022
Sixth form college, 2010 to 2012: A levels in English, business studies and French.
Completed the Yorkshire Three Peaks in 2024, and school governor at a Manchester primary since 2022.
WHY IT READS THE WAY IT DOES
Every achievement carries a number. Nine days to four. £38,000 saved. 300 guests, £90,000, under budget three years running. A recruiter's eye stops on figures, not adjectives.
The profile is a person, not a word cloud. First person, real scope, real trust, one distinctive thread. It could not carry anyone else's name.
The current role gets the most space. It's read first and hardest. Earlier roles earn one paragraph each, and each explains why she moved.
Even the interests carry evidence. Not "walking and reading": the Three Peaks, a school governorship. Words mean nothing without outcomes.
YOURS WORKS THE SAME WAY
Margot interviews you with the questions EA recruiters ask, writes every line from your own evidence, and typesets it in all four templates. £39 once, and if it doesn't score at least 80 on our own marker, we keep working on it free until it does.
ELEANOR HART IS FICTIONAL. THE STANDARD IS NOT: EVERY RULE THIS CV FOLLOWS IS APPLIED TO YOURS.
