Executive assistant CV · Lily Shippen Ltd
Terms of service
You pay once. Margot interviews you and writes your CV to a recruiter's standard, with seven days of edits after she finishes, or 90 days of everything with the Search Kit, and up to three more rounds of free work if it scores under 80. The CV is yours. These terms set out the rest. Last updated 14 September 2026.
Who you are dealing with
Executive Assistant CV is a service of Lily Shippen Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 10008191. Questions about these terms go to lily@executiveassistantcv.co.uk. By buying from this site you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy.
What you are buying
- The CV, £39. The full interview with Margot, whether you start from an existing CV or from nothing. Four typeset templates you can switch between, PDF and Word downloads, a cover letter, and unlimited edits and re-downloads within your editing window.
- The Search Kit, £59. Everything in The CV, plus job advert targeting for up to ten adverts, an interview preparation sheet written from your CV, and your LinkedIn profile written to match it. All of it stays open for 90 days from the day you buy.
Both are one-off payments in pounds sterling, taken by Stripe. There is no subscription and nothing renews. The Record, listed on the pricing page as coming soon, is not yet for sale; joining its waitlist costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
How long you have
- You have 90 days from purchase to begin the interview.
- The CV, £39. Once Margot finishes writing, your editing window runs for seven days. In that time you can change any line, switch templates and download as often as you like.
- The Search Kit, £59. Everything stays open for 90 days from the day you buy: edits, job advert targeting, interview prep and the LinkedIn kit, because a job search takes weeks. If Margot finishes your CV near the end of that period you still get seven days of edits from then.
- Your private link opens your CV on any device. Keep it to yourself; anyone with it can open your session.
- Your downloads are yours to keep for good. The editing window only governs how long Margot keeps working on it with you.
The guarantee
Every finished CV is scored out of 100 by the same marker that scores CVs on the homepage. If yours scores under 80, your editing window does not close: Margot keeps working on it with you, free, for up to three more rounds of questions. That is the whole guarantee. It is a promise about the standard of the document, not about interviews or job offers, which depend on far more than a CV.
Cancellation and refunds
You have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of purchase. If you have not started the interview, email us within those 14 days and we will refund you in full. Starting the interview is your request for us to begin the service straight away, and once Margot has written your CV the service has been performed in full, so the fee is not refundable after that point. If something on our side stops the service working and we cannot put it right, we will refund you.
What Margot is
Margot is software. She is Lily Shippen's screening interview written down and run by a language model that writes from your answers. Everything on your CV comes from what you tell her or from the CV you give her; she is instructed never to invent facts, but you are responsible for checking that every line is true before you send it to anyone. A CV is your own statement to an employer, and you are the one making it.
Your content
The CV, cover letter, interview sheet, LinkedIn text and posts written for you are yours. You can use them however you like. You give us permission to process the CV and answers you provide in order to write them, as described in the privacy policy, and you confirm that the information you give us is yours to give. Please do not upload someone else's CV.
Fair use
Access is for one person and one CV. Each purchase covers one interview, which you can edit and re-download within the window. Do not share your access link, use the service to generate CVs for others, or attempt to get around the limits on the free tools or the Search Kit. We can withdraw access where these terms are broken.
Availability
We aim to keep the service available at all times, but it depends on suppliers we do not control and there will be occasional interruptions. If an interruption costs you part of your editing window, tell us and we will extend it.
Our responsibility to you
We will provide the service with reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for losses that were not a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms, or for the outcome of any job application. Our total liability to you for any claim connected with a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, including your rights as a consumer.
The law that applies
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, without taking away any protection you have under the law of the country you live in.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your purchase is the one published when you bought. The current version is always at this address, with the date at the top.
